Contract Comparison reads and compares your current and proposed agreement PDFs locally in your browser. The comparison workflow does not upload the PDFs, extracted contract text, or review notes to the hosting servers.

The hosting server delivers the tool. Your browser processes the documents.

AI analysis is disabled in Contract Comparison. Your agreements and review notes are not sent to an AI model or AI provider.

Changes are identified through document processing and text comparison. Staff check the original clauses, PDF citations, and coverage checklist before drawing conclusions.

Staff tools require an approved account. Visiting the login or password-reset page does not create an account or grant access.

Passkeys let approved staff sign in using their device’s security prompt. Fingerprint and facial verification stay with the device; the site receives a cryptographic proof, not biometric data.

Comparison results and review notes remain in the browser while you work. Save a review file to your device before closing the tool if you want to keep your work.

Downloaded review files can contain both agreements and your notes. Reports and spreadsheets contain comparison information. Store and share them according to your union’s confidentiality practices.

The website and authentication systems handle account information and routine connection data needed to operate the site and verify access. That is separate from the contract contents processed by the comparison tool.

Keeping documents local reduces exposure, but access controls still matter. Use a trusted device, protect your account, and sign out on shared devices.

The current comparison workflow keeps confidential documents outside AI services. Any future feature that would transmit document contents to another service needs a separate privacy review before staff use it.

Staff should understand what leaves their device, where it goes, and why before using such a feature.
